Remote HOA Management or Online HOA Management is one of four types of homeowner association management services provided by Coast Management of California (CMC) to condominium associations, planned developments, mobile home parks, trailer parks, mutual water companies, manufactured home communities of all types, and housing cooperatives located anywhere in California. Remote or online HOA Management is similar to full service management, but eliminates the costs associated with an on-site presence. It provides an HOA board of directors with the ability to self-manage if desired, but provides all of the essential back office services, including: (1) Accounting Services; (2) Sending letters, agendas, notices, violation letters, year-end disclosures, and other necessary communications; (3) Accepting homeowner requests and complaints; (4) Processing escrow requirements for sales and refinances; (5) Providing insurance administration services; (6) Obtaining bids; (7) Handing association collections, and much more. Remote or online management is sometimes referred to as virtual HOA management.
